With the holidays coming and new people wanting to come see the shop before they set an appointment, we decided to extend the walk in hours that we’re open to the public to 1-8pm every Tuesday through Friday!
We still make appointments Mondays-Saturdays via our appointments form, but this way our awesome clients can swing through to see if anyone is available during the week, or just stop by to say hello and snag a free sticker.
All that being said, one of the most frequently asked questions we get is,”Why do you keep saying the best way to set a consultation or appointment is still through the website if you have walk in hours?”
Well, three big reasons:
1. When you use our website’s appointments form, we are able to schedule times that are based on YOUR stated availability.
That saves you the time and effort of coming down to the shop only to find out no one is available that particular day because they’re already tattooing an appointment 😵💫
2. While you can call us (904 577-3730) to see if anyone is available before you come to the shop, unless you’ve put down a deposit to lock in a time, any open time is first come, first served.
We stopped holding spots for people that were “on their way” after the 500th time we got stood up after turning someone else away because an artist thought they were waiting on someone who was only minutes away 😵💫😵💫
3. Unfortunately, just because you come by during our public walk-in hours does not mean we always have someone available.
Our artists subscribe to the “bird in the hand” philosophy of booking, so if someone wants to put down a deposit and make an appointment, we just can’t say no 😅
So, come by the shop, check out the flash, meet the artists working, and roll the dice if you’re feeling itchy to get tattooed on a whim, but don’t say you weren’t warned if everyone is already working on someone who thought a little further out and made an appointment😝
Thanks again to everyone we have tattooed, we are tattooing, and we will tattoo in the future!
We literally could not do it without you.
